SUN, SAFARI and SO MUCH MORE...
One of the beauties of this world is that at the other end of this beautiful blue and green globe slowing revolving round the sun, there is an environment experiencing a different weather from what you are experiencing...
One of the beauties of my life in the last 3 days is travelling from Rotterdam (of the ever-shitty weather) to Nairobi (of beautiful sun and safari)...
And that is where urs truly is making this post from...
It's even more interesting when less than 10 hours in the country I get to see the Honourable Mwai Kibaki, President of the Republic of Kenya in person...Yes!!!I did...
Yesterday marked many first also including watching my first live game of GOLF...at the Kenyan Open 2005. It was kool watching 2 guys hitting the ball across the green and following after them. The sad part though was not understanding what either of their chances were to win the competition...Healthy exercise though...Especially walking beside the entourage of the Kenyan president and having his security details looking at me suspiciously...POOR NIGERIAN that I am...
Anyways, rounding off the night with a good meal of yama choma (roasted goat meat) and bottles of my favourite Guiness Foreign Extra stout counted for much of a wonderful first night...
And thats not leaving out my travel companion Rajiv (the PAI) on his very first visit ever to the African continent...It was nice to hear him every 10 seconds saying "This is AMAZING" with a grin not leaving his face...
I'm outta here...I suceeded in making my second post and hope to share more of my experience of my SUN and SAFARI as the days roll on...
